Robin Hood Steals Hearts

Sherwood Forest came to LSSC Theatre in their recent production of Robin Hood, directed by Prof. Heather Elmatti. The play, presented as children's theatre, spanned two days - October 26 and 27, 2017 - and was seen by 400 elementary school students from Lake County Schools. A public performance of the show was held on October 27 at 7:00pm in the Paul P. Williams Fine Arts Auditiorium. 

 

The cast for this production, made up entirely of LSSC Students, starred Josh Sussman as Robin Hood. Josh is a second year student at LSSC and he plans to transfer to UCF or UF by fall of 2018. This was his first performance as an actor. 

 

 

 

 

 

Ashley Hall (Maid Marian) is a 2nd year student and plans to major in Communications at UCF. This is her second year with the Theatre Arts Society and she has appeared in several previous productions, including For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls, Princess Pigface, and the LSSC Short Play Festival. Ashley will graduate in spring 2018. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Aaron Hansen (Little John) is a 1st year student at LSSC and he plans to transfer to UCF in 2019. This was his first performance for LSSC Theatre. He enjoys being loud, angry, and picking people up. 

 

Owen Tavares-Olivier (Friar Tuck) is a 3rd year LSSC student graduating in December 2017. He plans to major in Music and Music Education. He has previously appeared in LSSC productions The Rivals, Step on a Crack, Trifles and the LSSC Short Play Festival

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

James Rogers (Prince John) is a 1st year student at LSSC and plans to major in Secondary Education at UCF. This is his first performance with the members of LSSC Theatre. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andre Keegan (Sheriff) is a 2nd year student at LSSC. He plans to major in Nursing at USF. This is Andre's second year with LSSC Theatre, having previously appeared in Sumter Night Live! and LSSC Short Play Festival.

 

 

 

 

 

Avry Fontanez (Guard) is a 1st year student at LSSC and wants to major in Game Design at UCF. This is her first performance with LSSC Theatre.  Conor Hanes (King Richard) is a 1st year student at LSSC and plans to major in Food Service and Management at UCF. This is his first performance with LSSC Theatre.
