Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2017

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (March 2-5, 2017) was four days of family-welcomed joyous spirit, fun, and talent. People from all over America came to meet other people who are also of a friendly, easy going nature and to embrace their favorite music from multiple different genres.

It was easy to be included in all the fun by downloading the Okeechobee event planning and map app. This way I didn't miss a single thing I wanted to experience.

While on my Okee vacation, I experienced classes regarding herbs for everyday health, yoga, and positive energy healing. Not only were these classes useful for refreshing the body for a great start camping out here, but I also learned from these classes something that I could take home with me to share with others.

As for the music entertainers, there were huge names such as Wiz Khalifa, Flume, Bassnector, and Kings of Leon bringing life to the night crowd. Although there were also many underground artists performing at the festival for a shot at fame and a new experience for many to enjoy for the first time. The best part of experiencing the music was the multiple themed stages and constant encore of music. Yes, even at 4 am there was someone performing for you out in the portal. There was never a dull moment at Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival!

Okeechobee was a once in a lifetime (actually once per year if you want) experience. This festival is guaranteed to open up your eyes to your surroundings, keep you off of your phone, and maybe try something new such as a yoga class, a new artist, or make new connections.

I recommend Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, and all other outdoor camping festivals, to interact with people, nature, art, and music. For more information about the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, please visit their homepage: Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival
